Festivities in the Langhe

The Langhe is known for its rich traditions, culinary culture, and atmospheric village festivals. From April to the end of October, the region is bustling with feste e sagre, wine and food festivals, and historical events. In summer, almost every village organizes its own festival, led by the local Pro Loco. Numerous wine and truffle events also take place throughout the year, especially during spring and autumn—the harvest season.

Whether you enjoy wine tastings, medieval parades, music evenings, or culinary markets, there's always something going on. Enjoy authentic Italian traditions, sample local specialties, and dance under the stars on a balmy summer evening.

Feste e Sagre – Village Festivals in the Valley

In the villages of the Uzzone and Bormida Valleys, the village festivals usually begin in June in Levice (15 minutes away). Then, the festival moves to a different village each week until mid-September. Planning sometimes requires some serious deliberation—after all, no one wants to party on the same day as their neighbors. But these lively discussions perfectly capture the charm of village life.
